Praxis Value Consulting Internship – Associate Intern

Our internship program provides broad exposure to the consulting industry and teaches business strategy through full-­time immersion on a Praxis Value’s case team

As an Associate Consultant Intern (ACI), you’ll start with intense training taught by experienced consultants, which will be very comparable to the training new associate consultants get. You’ll be offered a full-time position as an associate consultant if you satisfy our performance standards.

About the Position…

As an intern, over the course of each project, you will responsible for gathering and analyse information, formulate and test hypotheses, and develop and communicate recommendations also responsible for supporting our senior consultants in different processes of the company’s operations, including market and industry research, performing analysis and presentations, and other ad hoc tasks.

You’ll also be supposed to present results to client management and implement recommendations in collaboration with client team members. In some cases, you will be asked to travel to your client site.

About the Position…

As an internship candidate you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree; Advanced graduate degree in progress; Academic degree requirements may vary by country
  • Having ability to work collaboratively in a team and create an inclusive environment with people at all levels
  • Having capability to drive an independent workstream in the context of a broader team project
  • Comfortable with ambiguous, ever-changing situations. Must be open to change, and open for opportunity
  • Having ability to break down and solve problems through quantitative thinking and analysis 
  • Having ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English & local office language(s) 

Who you’ll work with…

You will join one of our offices for 10 – 12 weeks, to work in teams and directly with our clients. In addition to the locations, this job opportunity is also available on online basis.

In this role, you will help our clients in private, public, and social sectors solve their most pressing problems. You will also work with many experts, from data scientists and researchers to software designers.

What you’ll do…

You’ll be supposed to work in teams of typically 3 – 5 consultants to identify, and oftentimes implement, potential solutions for a specific client problem or challenge. Together, you will help clients make lasting improvements to their performance and realize their most important goals.

Over the course of each project, you will gather and analyze information, formulate and test hypotheses, and develop and communicate recommendations. You’ll also present results to client management and implement recommendations in collaboration with client team members. In some cases, you will be asked to travel to your client site.

While all consultants gain specialized knowledge as they go through Praxis Value, the majority of them start off with a broad emphasis, which means they don’t need specific industry or functional skills to be effective. For consultants who join Praxis Value as experienced experts, this can mean expanding on past expertise or gaining experience in a completely new area.
